  The Teesalon (tea room) offers time and space to gather and discuss practice and current topics, taking up the traditions of the Salons with their conversation about art and society. As the host, I create a framework which enables and encourages exchange and encounters.

  Rita Evans: Day Trippers, 2010

  Nine artists go to the top of a hill to discuss intuition and art. Meanwhile, the camera that records their conversation is observing the worldly goings on in their surroundings... a plane leaves a vapour trail across the sun, tin foil rattles in the wind, the leaves above mutate the shadows into different shapes… then the conversation turns to the subject of fractals. These major yet unmentioned events that surround them seem to be important contributors to the trail of their discussion.
